We are proud to pronounce once again our participation in a
multilateral project.
A new Erasmus Plus project has commenced this September
with the participation of our Secondary students. The project, “An experience
with and for Refugees” will have a duration of 3 years, during which time, our
pupils will have the opportunity to work together with their teachers on
activities connected with this theme, sharing the results of their work with
fellow students and families from Colegio Montesclaros and also with the
communities of the other participating schools in the project.
“No matter where children are from, all children have the
same rights and need our protection”
We hope that this project whilst giving our pupils the
opportunity to investigate the current global and national situation with
regards to immigration, and allowing them to learn from experiences of those
affected with the help of contact with NGOs, will foster the development of
social, civic, media literacy and critical thinking skills. Education is the answer to combating
discrimination, segregation, racism, bullying and violence.
Of course, our children will have the opportunity to
travel!
They will have the chance to travel to other countries in
the project to see how those families live and what the school and community do
to help the issue of Social Inclusion and in turn we shall welcome students
from abroad to visit our school.

Estamos orgullosos de anunciar una vez más nuestra
participación en un proyecto multilateral.
Un nuevo proyecto Erasmus+ ha comenzado en septiembre con
la participación de nuestros alumnos de Secundaria. El proyecto “Una
experiencia con y para los refugiados” tendrá una duración de 3 años, durante
los cuales, nuestros alumnos junto con sus profesores tendrán la oportunidad de
trabajar en actividades relacionadas con este tema, compartiendo los resultados
de su trabajo con el de sus compañeros y familias del Colegio Montesclaros y
también con las comunidades de los otros colegios participantes en el proyecto.
“No importa de donde proceden los niños, todos ellos tienen
los mismos derechos y necesitan nuestra protección”
Esperamos con este proyecto ofrecer a nuestros alumnos la
oportunidad de investigar la situación global y nacional en relación a la
inmigración y permitirles aprender de las experiencias de aquellos afectados
que han sido ayudados con las ONGs, se fomentará el desarrollo de las destrezas
sociales, cívicas, los medios de comunicación y el pensamiento crítico.
La educación es la respuesta para combatir la
discriminación, la segregación, el racismo, bullying y la violencia.
Por supuesto, ¡nuestros niños tendrán la oportunidad de
viajar!
Gracias a este proyecto, nuestros alumnos tendrán la
oportunidad de viajar a otros países para ver cómo viven esas familias y ver
qué acciones se pueden llevar a cabo por parte de la escuela y la comunidad
para ayudar en el aspecto de la inclusión social y a su vez dar la bienvenida a
todos los alumnos extranjeros que vengan a visitar nuestro cole.
