3º día en Sicilia

Hoy 24 de abril , nos reunimos en el vestíbulo del colegio a las 8:30 donde tuvimos una reunión con la autora Erminia dell’Oro. Luego tuvimos un descanso en el cole y los alumnos estuvieron en las clases. Posteriormente, tuvimos un taller con el ilustrador Armin Greder. Después visitamos la exposición de Gianni De Conno. A continuación los profesores comimos en Acitrezza y los alumnos se fueron con sus padres a pasar la tarde juntos. Finalmente nos fuimos al colegio donde los Coordinadores y profesores del colegio tuvimos una reunión sobre el proyecto Erasmus. Finalmente regresamos a casa después de un día fantástico.

3rd DAY IN SICILY

Today 24th April we went in the entrance hall at 8:30 where we had a meeting with the author Erminia dell’ Oro. Next, we had a break at school and students were in class. Then, we had a workshop with the illustrator Armin Greder. After that, we visited the exhibition by Gianni De Conno. After that, teacher had lunch at Acitrezza and students went with their families to spend the afternoon together. Finally, we went to school where Coordinators and teachers had a meeting to talk about the Erasmus project. Finally, we came back home after having an exciting day.

2º día en Sicilia

Hoy 23 de abril , nos reunimos en el vestíbulo del colegio a las 8:30 y comenzamos el día con un tour, visitamos todas las aulas y los alumnos nos dieron la bienvenida en el patio cantando y bailando y posteriormente el coro del colegio interpretó una amplia variedad de canciones en italiano, alemán, portugués, griego, húngaro y español. Después tuvimos un descanso a las 10:00. Posteriormente nos presentaron a autores e ilustradores. A continuación todos participamos en un taller con el ilustrador Fuad Aziz. Luego alumnos y profesores comimos allí y disfrutamos de una comida deliciosa y saludable. Finalmente visitamos  la exposición Armin Greder en Zafferana y por último asistimos a una conferencia sobre los regfugiados “Oltre quel mare. Dialogare per conoscere e accogliere”. Todos disfrutamos de este día.

2nd DAY IN SICILY

Today 23rd April we went in the entrance hall at 8:30. We began with the tour and we visited the classrooms and all students welcomed us in the playground singing and dancing a variety of songs in Italian, German, Portuguese, Greek. Next, we had a break at 10:00. Then, some authors and illustrators were introduced to us. After that, we took part in a workshop with the illustrator Fuad Aziz. Later, we had lunch and enjoyed a delicious and healthy food. We visited  the Armin Greder exhibition in Zafferana. Finally, we attended to a lecture called “Oltre quell mare. Dialogare per conoscere e accogliere”. We enjoyed this day.

Llegada a Sicilia

Hoy 22 de abril 2 alumnos de 1º ESO acompañados por Amparo Torrents y Laura Ledesma, 2 de nuestras profesoras, partimos de Barajas a las 12:00 con rumbo a Roma. Allí los niños lo pasaron genial paseando por el aeropuerto, practicando su inglés, comiendo y jugando mientras esperábamos al siguiente vuelo.

Despegamos de nuevo a las 19:25 y llegamos a Catania a las 20:45. Allí las familias italianas nos esperaban entusiasmados. Los niños partieron con ellos a sus casas y nosotras al hotel para cenar y descansar.

ARRIVAL IN SICILY

Today 22nd April our students from Secondary accompanied by Amparo Torrents and Laura Ledesma, 2 of our teachers, set off from Barajas at 12:00, destination Rome. In the Departure Lounge our children had a very good time in the airport, putting their English into practice, having lunch and playing in the meantime we were waiting for the next flight to Catania.

We took off again at 19:25, landing at 20:45 in Catania. The families were very enthusiastic waiting for us. Everybody was excited. Our children went home with their families and we said goodnight and see you tomorrow.
